Natural Explorer. While traveling in forested areas, Elmo doubles his proficiency on Intelligence and Wisdom checks related to the forest. His group is not slowed by difficult terrain, and they cannot become lost. When when engaged in another activity, Elmo remains alert to danger in a forest, and if alone, he can travel stealthily at his normal pace. When foraging in a forest, Elmo finds twice as much food as normal; and while tracking creatures, he knows their number, sizes and how long ago they passed through an area.
Fighting Style. Defense (while wearing armor, Elmo gains a +1 to AC.
Primeval Awareness. Elmo can expend a spell slot and for 1 minute per level of the spell slot, can sense whether the following types of creatures are within 1 mile of him (6 miles if in Forested areas): Aberrations, Celestials, Dragons, Elementals, Fey, Fiends, Undead.
Horde Breaker. Once on each of his turns, when Elmo makes a weapon attack, he may immediately make another attack with the same weapon against a different creature that is within 5 feet of the original target.
Spellcasting. 1st level spells (3 slots per day) 1, 2, 3; Spell Save DC: 12, Spell Attack Modifier: +4.
+1 Dagger. Melee or Ranged Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft. or range 20/60 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d4+4) piercing damage.
Battleaxe. Melee Weapon Attack: +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 6 (1d8+2) slashing damage, or 7 (1d10+2) slashing damage if wielding with two hands.

Elmo appears tipsy and jovial, if a little dimwitted. He is often found in the company of good drink.

Elmo has lived in Hommlet for his entire life, though he did travel some with his elder brother Otis, and has spent quite a lot of time in Verbobonc over the last few years.
